Fabrice Edelmann was born in Geneva, Switzerland. After his beginnings in the Popular Conservatory, he entered L'École de Danse de Genève under the direction of Beatriz Consuelo where he trained in classical and contemporary technique. Shortly after, he joined the Junior Ballet of the same director, acquiring his first choreographic experiences, dancing works by Ivonice Satie, Iracity Cardoso, Beatriz Consuelo, Frederic Gafner and Myriam Naisy among many others.


In 1994 he joined the Hagen Ballet of the director Richard Wherlock with whom he will work as a soloist in Lucerne, at the Komische Oper in Berlin and the Basel Ballet for 8 years, dancing in addition to his works, Ed Wube ballets, Orjan Anderson, Nils Christie, Myriam Naisy, and Itzik Galili.


In 2002 he joined the National Dance Company of Nacho Duato, expanding his experience with ballets by the same director as well as by Ohad Naharin, Jiri Kylian, William Forsythe, Mats Ek and Gentian Doda. In the 2008 season, he became a repeater for Compañía Nacional de Danza 2, which he ended up directing in 2010.


He is currently an assistant to Nacho Duato, as well as a visiting professor at various schools, conservatories and national and international companies, where he teaches repertoire workshops, and classical or contemporary classes.


In addition, he is a cultural manager with a master's degree from ICCMU, and experience as coordinator of the Canal Choreographic Center and artistic coordinator of the Teatros del Canal. She is a production assistant for the Somos Arte gala, which takes place every year in Valencia, at the Palau de les Arts, Reina Sofía.
